First Cheerleading Practice

London's first cheerleading practice was on Friday! I had mom drive her to cheer practice with me just so the girls could see her. They were in awe. It was so funny to see them look at her. I think it might have been the quietest that I have ever seen them. They were just looking at her and saying; "Mrs. Averitte she's real" haha- it was so cute. She didn't stay long, just enough to get in a quick visit. I dressed her up in a little fleece outfit, because it was cold and raining outside. The pic is of her getting ready to go to the gym, where she will spend many of her days!!! haha-

London Reese Averitte

It all started off Friday morning, October 9th when my water broke! It was about 6:10 a.m. when my water broke and I went to wake up Brandon. It was a weird feeling and there were so many thoughts running through my mind!!! I was thinking, wait...... my house needs to be picked up, London's room isn't all the way ready, and on and on and on and then finally I realized that there was no more time to wait, it was GO TIME!!!! We went in to the hospital about 8:30 a.m. and they quickly got us settled into our room and then it all began. I got my epidural around 11:30 a.m. and then around 3:00 p.m. it was about time to get going. I ended up not being receptive to the epidural so it made for a rough day, but about 6:15 p.m. Miss London decided to finally come!!! We were automatically over joyed and could not believe that we were so fortunate to have such a sweet baby girl. She weighed in at 8 lbs and 5 oz and she was 20.5 inches long. So, needless to say she was a healthy girl! We had so many family and friends at the hospital with us, it was such an exciting day! Mom was a little tired and ready to chill but I was so excited to finally see her, hold her, kiss her and kiss her, and you get the point!! We stayed in the hospital until Sunday afternoon and then we were released to come home. It was great to get to bring her home, and a little scary too! haha- However, we have been so blessed to have our family here and my mom (yaya) with us this first week as we are all getting settled in. London is doing great! She is eating good, and we are trying to get her adjusted to sleeping and getting into a routine. I am going to post some pics of her over the last few days. Hope you enjoy!

Jumping on the bandwagon!

Well, I have finally joined the crew and set up a blog. I have never really had too much to blog about until our little one arrived. Now that my camera is another part of my body it seems, I think there will be plenty to share with everyone! I am going to be off of work for the next few months and I want to be able to share with you all how are family is growing and keep you all up to date with Miss. London. She is truly a gift from the good Lord and we are thrilled to share her with you all! Plus, I will keep you all updated on what Brandon and I are doing as well. Brandon is starting to coach basketball at Station Camp here in the next few weeks so I am sure we will have some great stories from Dad to share! By the way, GO COMMANDOS!!! haha- The rivalry is about to begin!
